The new version of TRENDS is an application package that works with Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013 and the Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 platforms.  It has been developed with the following upgrades:

  • An interface program called MY TRENDS where demographic and financial information will be entered.
  • A matrix for entering individual member data prior to uploading  to TRENDS
  • A scenario/analysis feature to compare alternatives
  • A set of instructions for getting started
  • Ability to add additional Funds:  operations, retirement, development and up to 10 other funds

CONFERENCE MATERIALS: A copy of the Power Point slides from the 2013 post-National Conference workshop held on Friday, October 25, 2013, in Anaheim, California, is accessible via the link at the bottom of this page as is a copy of the Power Point slides from the refresher course held that same afternoon.

Consultants will be available to help communities with the installation, set-up and scenario analysis of the program. A fee will be charged to cover the cost of the consultation. Contact Brother Larry Lundin for more information on consultants and their availablility.

RCRI conducted a webinar on TRENDS in August of 2013. Sister Hertha Longo, CSA, one of the developers of the program and an expert consultant, was the presenter. The recorded webinar and handout are available here on our website on the Webinars page.
