Procedures
and Documents for Canonical/Civil Administration,
Dan Ward, OSB and Lynn Jarrell, OSU
Published in 2007, the purpose of this text is to provide those individuals
in administration in institutes/societies of religious life with a clear,
easy-to-use guide to the necessary steps and documents for carrying out
their responsibilities. Administrative responsibilities are presented in
canon law as the way that most of the leadership in institutes/societies is
exercised. Individuals elected to or appointed to hold administrative
positions have particular civil and/or canonical responsibilities.
Appropriate exercise of the administrative responsibilities is intended to
enhance the common good of the institute/society as well as for the good of
each member. |
