RCRI Bulletin
This biannual journal addresses issues of canon law, civil law, and finance of interest to members of religious institutes. Its primary audience is comprised of treasurers and leaders of Catholic religious institutes. Lawyers and accounting professionals who serve religious institutes may also find its content useful. Each edition of the RCRI Bulletin usually contains two articles of 5000-6500 words each (10-15 pages as formatted for publication). Articles can be longer if the topic warrants it. The RCRI Bulletin is an electronic publication, with articles posted on the password-protected section of the RCRI web site. Articles should reference case law, statutory law and regulations when necessary, although extensive citation is not required. When possible, articles on related topics are published together in a single issue, giving a focus to the issue. Submissions are accepted year-round. Articles submitted for publication must be received in final form by the date designated by the editor, which generally is March 1 for the spring edition
and September 1 for the fall issue. On occasion these dates differ, so consult the editor named below to find out the deadline for the edition in which you wish to have an article published.

News In Brief
This quarterly publication contains approximately 2,000 words of content. One longer article of current interest is often presented as an anchor text, with shorter submissions highlighting recent developments in the law and other topics that are of significance to members of religious institutes and their professional advisors. This publication is written almost entirely by RCRI staff. We do welcome submissions, including calendar dates for upcoming events from related Catholic organizations.

How to Submit
It is recommended that an article proposal be submitted prior to completion of an article. We do not guarantee that we will publish every submission, whether solicited or unsolicited. Unsolicited manuscripts will not be returned. Submit queries or written materials to the editor via e-mail (MS Word) or regular mail:
