RCRI offers expertise and assistance on both civil and canon issues. We also offer advice on matters of a financial nature.

Our services include (at no additional cost for members / subscribers):

  • Consultations with our civil and canon lawyers and finance consultants - In comparison to lawyer rates, with one or two phone calls, membership pays for itself
  • TRENDS - Members get a substantial discount when purchasing the TRENDS program. The TRENDS is much more user friendly than the previous edition. Members can contact RCRI and request a TRENDS consultation to assist the community in understanding the TRENDS analysis and in making decisions for the future based on the analysis.

  • Religious Governance Resources - This resource hosts several topics in finance, canon law and civil law that are encountered in religious life today.The topics are meant to enable leadership and finance personnel to find the answers to their questions.
  • Planning for the Future - This is a project to assist institutes who have declining membership and in transition.
  • Toolbox – Resources for institutes in transition including DVD’s and articles on assessment tools, governance models, property issues, choosing consultants public juridic persons, sponsorship, etc.
  • Annual National Conference – rich with over 35 professional and educational workshops pertinent to religious life on canon, civil law and finance topics.Members receive a $300 discount.
  • Periodic seminars and forums on timely issues – advanced notice and reduced rates to members
  • Access to our Google Discussion Group – where leaders and treasurers post a problem or question or advice-seeking note ...... and our members respond to it with their suggestions.  Very practical, helpful and immediate. 
  • On-going support of other related national organizations (particularly LCWR, CMSM, CMSWR, and NRRO.Your membership enables us to provide services to all institutes and societies through our work with these organizations)
  • Job Openings webpage where member organizations can initiate and post their listings to attract qualified personnel to apply
  • Periodic Webinars – “Timely Topics” series on topics that show how various aspects of law and finance uniquely apply to religious institutes
